William Ignatius Dolan, Jr, of Pawtucket, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of the late William I. Dolan, Sr. and Beatrice (Wilde) Dolan.
William was a Bartender in Las Vegas and Reno Nevada for many years before returning home to live near his family in Rhode Island. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his brother, Laurence Dolan of Pawtucket, and was the loving uncle to thirty-one nieces’ nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters and brothers Beatrice McDonald, Eileen Warren his twin sister, Barbara Dolan, Muriel Daily, Kenneth Dolan and Ann DiSaia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. Jeanne Jugan Chapel, 946 Main St. Pawtucket, RI. A calling hour will precede the Mass from 10:00AM to 11:00 AM in the auditorium of St. Jeanne Jugan residence.
Burial with full military honors will be held in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
