Walter Herbert Keller

Walter Herbert Keller, 82, of Warwick, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024. He was the loving husband of Joyce Eileen (Young) Keller. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Henry and Lillian (Stoltz) Keller.

Walter worked as a Sign Erector for several sign companies until his retirement. He enjoyed days at the beach and trips with his family. He was affectionately called “Papa Wally” by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all of their childhood friends. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be greatly missed.

Alongside his wife Joyce, he is survived by his beloved children, Karen L. Keller of North Scituate and Matthew B. Keller (Christine) of Hanson, MA and Bethanie Keller of Warwick, his grandchildren, Kaela Keller (Randy), Jonathan Guiot (Marina), Jenna Keller, Katie Keller, and Matthew Keller, and five great-grandchildren, Mason, Gus, Cora, Rue, and Mateo.

He was the brother of the late Charles Keller, Isla Bisch, and Gertrude Ricci.

Visitation will be held at the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick, Rhode Island on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 4:00PM - 7:00PM.

His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 10:00AM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick with burial to follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Cranston.
