Sandra Fletcher Obituary

Sandra Elizabeth (Taylor) Fletcher, 84, of Warwick, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025 at Rhode Island Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Edward Francis Fletcher. Born in Columbus, OH, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Phylis (Manuel) Taylor.

Sandra worked as the Credit Manager for Danecraft Jewelry in Providence for over forty years and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Apponaug where she served as a member of the Altar Guild. Sandra enjoyed spending time with her family, her pets, listening to music, and loved to be by the Ocean. She was also an avid Red Sox fan.

She is survived by her beloved children, David S. Fletcher (Doreen) of Johnston, Karen E. DeBoer of Wakefield, and Cindy P. Fletcher-Fleming (Dan) of Putnam, CT, her grandchildren, Kerri, Alex, Lauren, Nick, Ryan, Scott, Kate, Elizabeth, Kenny, and Sean, and her great-granddaughter, Olivia.

A Requiem Eucharist will be celebrated on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 9:00AM at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 3257 Post Road, Warwick. Interment will follow at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.
