Ronald Richard Bergeron, 61, of Exeter, passed away doing what he loved, bow hunting on November 17, 2025. Ron was the treasured husband of Susan Bergeron (Bonner) of 39 years with whom he shared a bond built on deep love and partnership. Besides his wife, he leaves behind his son Matthew, daughter-in-law Jacqueline, and the light of his life, his pride and joy, his granddaughter Willow. He is also survived by his sister Diane Bergeron, his brother Erik Ekelund, his parents Richard Bergeron and the departed Pauline (Champoux) Ekelund and his hunting/fishing brothers Craig, Dale and John. To each of them, Ron was a constant source of support, loyalty, and love someone they leaned on, trusted, and cherished.
A man of remarkable skill, Ron was a gifted master carpenter. Ron proudly served his country as an Army Ranger in the 82nd Airborne, carrying with him the discipline and courage. An avid outdoorsman, Ron found peace and purpose in the woods. Hunting was more than a pastime for him, it was a connection to nature, tradition, and the simpler, truer things in life. Many of his happiest days were spent beneath open skies, surrounded by the quiet beauty he loved so deeply.Above all, Ron’s greatest achievement was the family he held together with steadfast love. He was their protector, their teacher, their constant, the heart of the Bergeron family, irreplaceable and dearly treasured.
Funeral services will be private.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home 800 Greenwich Ave. Warwick. Ron will be missed beyond measure, and remembered forever.
