Ronald John Amison

Ronald John Amison, 81, of Lewiston, Maine, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025. He was the loving husband of Xiaoming Amison. Born in Manchester, CT, he was the son of the late Frank H. and Beatrice C. (Anderson) Amison.

Ronald worked as an Engineer for the Morgan Steel Company for many years. He was a resident of Maine for thirteen years and previously lived in China for over twenty years. Ronald was a member of the Masonic Order and Scottish Rite.

Alongside his wife, Xiaoming Amison of Lewiston, ME, he is survived by his beloved children, Russell Amison, Donald Amison, Robin Tarnoff and David Yu; and his seven adored grandchildren, Cat, Connor and Jonas Reinhart, Rebecca and Kara Amison, and Jocelyn and Jovia Hu.

His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 12:30PM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00AM to 12:30PM.
Interment will take place at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.
