Roberto R. Arias

Roberto R. Arias, 78, of Providence, RI, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025. Born in Bolivia, he was the son of the late Julio and Angelica (Rojas) Arias.

Roberto was a Supervisor in the Manufacturing Industry for many years before his retirement. He was a member of the Fraternidad Folklorica Boliviana Society.

He is survived by his children, Lucinda Barretto (Ean) of Warwick, RI, Julio Arias, Samantha Arias and Stephen Arias all of Providence, RI. He was the brother of Walter Arias of Providence, RI, Blanca Arias de Mercado of Bolivia , Lourdes Arias Gonzales of MA, Aide Arias Gonzales of Providence and loving grandfather of Angel, Gabriel, Michael and Evelynn. He was predeceased by his brother, Victor Arias and his sister, Nilda Arias Anaya.

His Funeral will be held on Saturday November 15,2025 at 8:30AM from the URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM at St. Bartholomew’s Church, 297 Laurel Ave. Providence, RI.  Burial will be Private

Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday November 14, 2025 from 4:00PM-7:00PM.
