Roberta Kaye Prickett, 78, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025. She was the loving wife of Pastor Stephen E. Prickett. Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Willard E. and Kathleen E. (Regan) Barber.
Roberta was an office manager at Statewide Health Services, until her retirement. She was active in Christian Circles and served as Vice President of the Women’s Temperance Union, and taught Sunday School. Roberta enjoyed crocheting and fishing and had a boat named after her “The Bobi K”.
Besides her husband, she leaves behind her sons Stephen C. Prickett (Kate) of Johnston, Ronald A. Prickett (Krystle) of Marion, NC and Jonathan W. Prickett (Keri) of Warwick, she was the adoring grandmother of 11 grandchildren, her brother David A. Barber of Warwick, and her sister Shirley J. Trattenero of Providence.
She was predeceased by her brothers Steven W. Barber and Willard E. Barber, Jr.
A Memorial Service will be held on WEDNESDAY, August 6, 2025, at 10:00AM at the Warwick Christian Fellowship, 358 Warwick Neck Avenue, Warwick. Interment will follow at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI
Visitation will be held on MONDAY, August 4, 2025, from 4:00PM-7:00PM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave, Warwick.
