Roberta (Roberts) Potts

Roberta (Roberts) Potts, 92, of East Greenwich, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Born in Providence on December 26th, 1932, she was the daughter of the late George Frederick Roberts and Ethel (Johnson) Roberts.

Roberta was a double graduate of Katharine Gibbs School, first in 1949 then again in 1979. She worked as a secretary for Met Life Insurance Company. She also worked in retail at several stores specializing in women's clothing. A dedicated homemaker, Roberta enjoyed cooking, knitting, and needlepoint.

She is survived by her children Steven C. Potts (Joanne) of Oklahoma and Janet L. Flaherty of West Warwick. She is fondly remembered by her five grandchildren, Alexandra M. Slezak, Steven C. Potts, Jr. (Amy), Patrick 0. Flaherty, Melissa J. Mendoza (Joe), and Katharine A. Flaherty. She was also "Old Nanny" to her six beloved great-grandchildren.

She was the former spouse of the late Walter G. Potts and predeceased by her sons W. George Potts, Jr. and Thomas C. Potts.

Funeral Services will be private and are entrusted to THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich

Avenue, Warwick.
