Robert Peasley, Sr. Obituary

Robert Clifton Peasley, Sr., 86, of Warwick, passed away at Berkshire Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on February 23, 2025. Born on February 18, 1939, Loving Husband of Ann R Peasley (Mercurio). He was the son of the late Clifton and Lena Peasley (Silva)

Robert graduated from Warwick Veterans Memorial High School and Salve Regina College. Robert proudly served in the United States Navy, and then began his career as a Warwick Policeman until his retirement in 1989 with the rank of Detective. Robert continued his career path as a Special investigator with Commercial Union Insurance Company. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He was an antique car enthusiast and enjoyed collecting model trains.

He is survived by his children, Kim Conroy and her husband Buddy of Brooklyn, CT, Kurt Peasley and his wife Tracy of South Kingstown, RI, and his daughter-in-law Kelly Peasley of Plainfield, CT. Robert was also the father of the later Robert C Peasley Jr.

He was known as “Pa” to his precious grandchildren Devon, Mitchell, Kohl, Brooke, Olivia, Christopher, and Connor. 
Robert is also survived by his brother, Clifton Peasley, and his wife, Denise, of Warwick, RI. Along with other extended family members and dear friends.  He was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Peasley.

A Committal Service will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 11:00AM at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822. Family and friends may gather at the Administration Bldg. at 10:45AM.

Funeral Services have been entrusted by THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave, Warwick.
