Robert A. Jutras, 82, of Thornton, CO, formerly of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 after a brief illness. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Alvin A. and Grace M. (Sepe) Jutras. He was the former husband of Nancy Waldon of Fredrick, CO with whom he remained on friendly terms.
Robert graduated from Cranston East High School and the University of Rhode Island. He proudly served in the United States Army Reserve for over twenty-five years, completing his service as a First Sergeant. Robert went on to work as a cost accountant for various companies throughout Rhode Island and Connecticut before retiring to Naples, FL and Thornton, CO. A devoted father, he loved spending time with his daughter, Allison. Robert also enjoyed Corvettes and the Boston Red Sox.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Allison Jutras (Kevin Holmberg) of Berthoud, CO, his siblings, Donna Sweeney of Cranberry, PA, Stephen Jutras of Cranston, Deborah Daniel of Warwick, Jennifer Chace of Foster, and Jeffrey Jutras (Donna Obuch) of Danbury, CT, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, and his beloved canine companion “Slim”.
His Funeral Services are private and entrusted to THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.
