Robert Gonzenbach Obituary

Robert William Gonzenbach, 81, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026. He was the loving husband of Linda J. (Wills) Gonzenbach. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Albert and Agnes (Bradshaw) Gonzenbach.

Robert was a graduate of Central High School in Providence, he was the owner of Accu-tool Inc for over 50 years and was in the Jewelry Manufacturer Association, he was a longtime member of Beneficial Congregational Church and served as a Deacon of the Church. He enjoyed spending time on Narragansett Bay on his boat the “Galian”.

Besides his wife, he leaves behind his beloved daughter Dawn Magiera and her husband Louis of Foster, sister-in-law Jean Paolantonio, beloved friends Diane and John Foster, his niece Jill Nagel and grandniece Clem Paolantonio and nephew John Benum, and grand-nephews, and his canine companions Louisa and Maggie.

He was predeceased by his son Donald R. Middlemiss, and his siblings Paul Gonzenbach and May Breault.

Private Funeral Services will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick, RI.
