Robert E. Bennett

65, of Coventry, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Born in Westerly, he was a son of the late Raymond W. Bennett, Sr. and Donalda E. (Boucher) Bennett. He was the loving husband of Beth H. (Knight) Bennett.

Mr. Bennett was the Proprietor of Bob's Coins & Collectibles until his retirement in 2002. He was the President of The Wickford Club, member of the American License Plate Collectors Association, and the Rhode Island Postal History Society.

Besides his wife, he leaves his two sisters, Barbara Arnold and her husband William of North Kingstown and Loretta Leroux of Warwick. He was the father of the late Robert Coulson, Robin Wentworth, and brother of the late Raymond W. Bennett, Jr. and Connie Savage. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 11:00 am in St. Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown. Burial will follow in Elm Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown.
