Raymond Leo Forrestal

Raymond Leo Forrestal, 71, of Johnston, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025. He was the loving husband of Karen L. (Gauthier) Forrestal. Born in Queens, New York, he was the son of the late Raymond A. and Rose E. (Parrino) Forrestal.

Raymond worked as a Manager for Metropolitan Insurance Company for many years. A lover of all things audio, he enjoyed spending time using his collection of stereo equipment and watching sports. Raymond was a devoted husband, father, and brother who will be greatly missed.

Alongside his wife, Karen L. Forrestal of Johnston, he is survived by his beloved daughters, Victoria Forrestal of Attleboro, MA and Chelsea Forrestal of Lincoln, and his siblings, Bernard G. Forrestal of Attleboro, MA, Janet M. Rabbitt (Kevin) of Westerly, Richard J. Forrestal (Kathy) of Melbane, NC, Rose M. Bergeron of Venice, FL, Dennis R. Forrestal (Melissa) of Groton, CT, and Kenneth J. Forrestal (Diane Santore) of Ledyard, CT.

He was the brother of the late Judith Fairbanks and James Forrestal.

His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 7:00PM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.

Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home prior to the Service from 4:00PM-7:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
