Ralph E. Lopriore, Jr.

Ralph E LoPriore, 94, passed away on January 9,2026 at Westerly Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Westerly, RI, he was the son of the late Ralph and Selena (Gallucci) LoPriore. He was the loving husband of the late Henrietta (Rousseau) LoPriore. Ralph shared his life with his wife for 72 years.

He attended the Westerly Public Schools and worked in construction with his father. He entered the Marine’s in 1949 and served till 1952. He married Henrietta in 1954 and began his work career with General Dynamics in Quality Control for 37 years, retiring in 1992.

Ralph, known to many as “Squeak” had a love of music, he played the bass guitar, trombone and horn. He was a fan of the Big Band Era. As a younger man he played in many venues in the area and was a member of the Marine Corps band. After retiring he spent time with his family, which was most important to him. He traveled from time to time to Florida, Hawaii and Las Vegas aways to return to Westerly to golf, cook and take care of his well-maintained yard. He loved watching the Red Sox and taking day trips to Foxwood Casino to leave a donation.

He leaves behind his children, Nina Tuttle, James LoPriore, Jay LoPriore (Michelle), and Todd LoPriore (Misty). Ralph had 7 grandchildren Taylor and Jordan Collis, Nicholas and Josh LoPriore, Jackie Morgan, Danielle LoPriore, Celena LoPriore and 2 great grandchildren Peyton and Bella. He was predeceased by his son Ralph LoPriore III. He will be reunited with his wife Henrietta, and his siblings, Angelo LoPriore, James LoPriore, Theresa McMahon, Elaine Gaulzetti, Sylvia Limanni ,Celena Tanner and Frances Constandi.

There will be a graveside service with Military Honors on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 11:00AM at St. Sebastian Cemetery, 12 Cobblestone Lane, Westerly, RI 02891. May they all rest in peace.
