Pauline A. (LaPlante) Coleman

74, of Coventry passed away Monday at Kent Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph T. Coleman and the late John F. Babcock. Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Paul LaPlante and Jeannette (Smith) Blais and the step daughter of Giovanne LaPlante of Cranston.

She was the beloved mother of William J. Babcock of North Kingstown, Theresa L. Beaulieu of Coventry, Rhonda C. McCarthy and her companion Glenn Jenison and his family of West Warwick and the late John D. Babcock. Caring sister of Paulette O Keefe of Cranston. Loving grandmother of Ian, Wesley, Shannon and Shawn. Cherished great grandmother of Austin, Brayden and Mason.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 8:00 am from THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in SS John & Paul Church, South Main Street, Coventry. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Thursday 4-7 pm.
