Pamela “Pam” Meo, 80, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, after a brief battle with cancer.
Born in Catskill, New York, Pam spent the majority of her life in the community she loved. In recent years, she shared her time between Florida with her daughter and Rhode Island with her son, where she passed away surrounded by love.
Pam was the cherished daughter of the late Robert Brandt and Elizabeth “Betty” Brandt of Catskill. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Robert Meo, with whom she shared a lifetime of devotion, partnership, and family.
For many years, Pam dedicated her career to serving others through her work at the Greene County Department of Social Services. She approached her work with compassion and commitment, touching many lives along the way.
Pam, affectionately known as “Pammy” to her friends, was a loving and devoted mother to Michael (Michelle), Lisa (Mark), James (Michael), and John (Anna). She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Nicole and Gabriella who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Porto, as well as many nephews, nieces, and dear friends.
Pam’s greatest happiness was found in time spent with her family. Whether gathered around a table, celebrating holidays, or simply enjoying each other’s company, those moments meant the world to her. Pam’s hobbies included shopping and playing the slot machines.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no formal services.
Pam will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and the deep love she had for her family. She will be dearly missed and forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
