Oscar Cortes

Oscar Cortes, 79, of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. He was the loving husband of Mireya (Diaz) Cortes.  Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Carlos and Ligia (Ochoa) Cortes.

Oscar worked as a Sales Representative in the automotive industry. He was active in various Charity work.

Alongside his wife Mireya, he leaves behind his daughter Alexandra Cortes of Panama, and his stepdaughter Elizabeth Gonzalez of Warwick, his two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Oscar was one of eleven children.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 6:00PM at St. Michael Church, 239 Oxford Street, Providence, RI 02905.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tn 38105.
