Norma Ann McKnight

Norma A. (Gemma) McKnight, 96, wife of the late Harold S. McKnight, passed away on February 14, 2026 surrounded by her family.  Norma was the daughter of the late Louis (Luigi) Gemma and Rose (Catanzaro) Gemma.  She was the sister of the late Shirley (Gemma) Malo, Louis Gemma Jr. and Barbara Gemma.

She leaves behind her four children, Ann McKnight Curfman (John Geremia), Harold McKnight (Sue Newman), Mark McKnight (Ruth), and Donna McKnight Laurie (Mark). Four grandchildren, Stephen, William and Lindsay Laurie and Melaine McKnight.  She also leaves six great grandchildren, Trent, Noah, Nora, Olivia, and twins Remy and Rowan.

Norma had worked in the past as an operator for the New England Telephone Company and in the telecommunications department for Kent County Hospital, from where she retired.

Norma loved spending time with her family.  She was a great Italian Chef who loved cooking and baking. She also liked to travel as was able to make a trip to Italy to visit the homeland where both of her parents were born. 

She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Norma will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 11:00AM at St. Rose and Clement Church, 111 Long St. Warwick. At the families request, burial will be private.
