Noela "Lucille" Alberte (Gourd) Rascle

Noela "Lucille" Alberte (Gourd) Rascle, 94, of West Greenwich, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late Eugene H. Rascle, Sr. for sixty-six years. Born in West Warwick, she was the youngest of ten children of the late Wilfred and Mary (Boucher) Gourd.

Noela worked as a Bookkeeper at Reds Auto Body in West Warwick for ten years then as a Coordinator for the Fayetteville School System in Georgia for twenty-three years. She was a communicant of Sts. John and Paul Church in Coventry. In her free time, Noela was a talented cook and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her beloved children, Lucille Bollengier (Robert) of West Greenwich and Eugene Gene H. Rascle, Jr. (Sandra) of Dataw Island, SC, her grandchildren, Nicholas T. Fox (Allyson) and Samantha Morrow Rascle, and a great-grandchild, Eleanor Hanley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 11:00AM at Sts. John and Paul Church, 341 Main Street, Coventry. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass from 9:00AM-10:00AM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Interment will take place at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.
