Nicholas Todd Brown

Nicholas Todd Brown, 40, of North Kingstown, passed away on November 20, 2025. 

Nick grew up in Plum Beach, Saunderstown. He graduated from NKHS and CCRI. Nick was an accomplished athlete in soccer, swimming, tennis, and track among his interests.  He became a talented chef who worked in the restaurant industry from Rhode Island to Maine.   He loved kayaking, biking, fishing, animals, and music.  Nick had a heart of gold.  He was honest, caring, loyal, funny, smart, and a protector of those he loved and cared about. He will be missed by many.

He leaves his loving parents, T. Todd Brown and his wife Nancy Shanahan of North Kingstown and Lynn A. (Boudreau) Kamien and her husband Kirk Kamien of North Kingstown.  He was the twin-brother of Randolph Garland Brown of East Falmouth, MA and brother of Courtenay Randolph Claiborne Brown of Brookline, MA.  He was the stepbrother of Matthew H. Kamien of White Plains, NY, Risa Kamien Jones & her husband Marcus of Pelham, NY, and Corey M. Holland of Palm Beach Gardens, FL. 

His funeral and burial will be private.  Calling hours are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to the Dana Farber Sarcoma Unit will be appreciated.
