Nancy Lee Morissette of Waterville, Maine, daughter of the late Lionel & Rena Violet, passed away peacefully August 23, 2024 in Warwick, RI where she had spent her last two years.
Nancy lived 87 beautiful years full of love, grace, spunk, sass, kindness & dignity. She had gentle blue eyes, a big, beautiful smile and a heart of gold. She loved her family, friends, dogs, music, line dancing, walks, the color pink, and her lipstick! She spent her entire career in banking where she made lifelong friends who became family.
Nancy is survived by her husband James Morissette, daughter Robin Morissette & partner Kelley Hewes (& grand puppy Finley), sister Nancy Poulin, stepchildren Jill Maurer & John Morissette, grandchildren Ashley Wrigley, Heather Morissette, Luke Maurer & Laura Maurer, great grandchildren Elizabeth, Abby & Cooper and very special niece Louise Pulsifer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 11:00AM at St Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road Warwick. Immediately following the Mass, relatives and friends are invited to a gathering at Fellinis Restaurant, 2190 Broad Street, Cranston.
There is nothing that would make Fancy Nancy happier than seeing a sea of pink in the church. Wear pink if you have it or any bright, cheery color!
