Nancy Marie (Baxter) Greco

Nancy Marie (Baxter) Greco, 67, of Warwick, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Gloria (Sciara) Baxter.

Nancy was raised in a traditional Italian home, where she developed the values of family, love, and hospitality that defined her life. She was a devoted and loving mother and a cherished Nonnie whose greatest joy was caring for those she loved.

Nancy expressed her love through cooking, bringing family and friends together around her table, and she was especially known for her unforgettable Italian gravy. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed crocheting, completing crossword puzzles, reading Stephen King novels in her younger years, watching true crime shows, her soap operas and relaxing with a good romance movie.

She will be remembered for her generous heart, unwavering love for her family, and the warmth she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her beloved children David Smith of Warwick, Raymond Smith of Cranston, Matthew Smith of Warwick, Shannon Granger of Cranston, and Bianca Plante of Taunton, her grandchildren, David, James, Nevaeh, Amber, Raymond, Zachary, Calvin, and Elodie.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 12:00PM at. St. Ann Church, 1493 Cranston Street, Cranston.

Visitation will be held prior from 9:00AM-11:00AM at the URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.. 

Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
