Michael T. DeMaula

Michael T. DeMaula, 78, passed away on October 24, 2025, in Providence, Rhode Island. Born to the late Frank and Nora (LaRocca) DeMaula, Michael was a devoted brother to Ava Gosper (Jim) and Dorothy Calise (the late Ralph).

A proud uncle to Kevin, Brian, Terri, and Alana, five great nieces and nephews, and a great-great niece. Michael had an enduring passion for the simple joys in life. He loved the timeless sounds of music from the 1940s through the 1970s. He was an avid sports fan, never missing a good baseball or football game. Michael was the family historian, an avid walker, and read the newspaper from front to back daily. He will be remembered for his huge smile, lingering laughs, and kindness. He was grateful for his community of neighbors and friends.

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 11:00AM at the URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave, Warwick, RI. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00AM-11:00AM. Burial will be private.

The family invites friends to take a moment to enjoy a good song, share a family story, or raise a cold glass of Coors Light in his honor. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Providence Streets Coalition (https://pvdstreets.org) or a charity of your choice.
