Mary T. (Moan) Boulanger, 91, formerly of Tophill Drive in Cranston, RI, died peacefully on Saturday, August 24th in Raleigh, NC. She was the loving wife for 51 years to the late Paul J. Boulanger, and the loving mother of the late Kathleen B. Charland, and the late Paul J. Boulanger, Jr. Mary was the daughter of the late Catherine (Moan) Stokes, and sister to the late James F. Moan.
Mary was a resident of the Oaklawn neighborhood in Cranston, RI for over 60 years, and worked at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company from 1970 - 1988 as a supervisor of Financial Services. She was skilled at card games, especially Hi-Lo-Jack, which she was a regular league champion at the Pilgrim Senior Center and passed on her love of the game to her family. Mary and Paul loved to travel, and made memories across the Western US, Aruba, and Hawaii. She also loved to cook and bake for others, and her home was a constant source of warmth and comfort to all.
What Mary cherished most of all was her family, which was evident in the way she would beam with pride at family gatherings and key milestones. She is survived by 5 grandsons: William F. Charland Jr and his wife Abigail of Raleigh, NC, Paul J. Boulanger III of Warwick, Andrew P. Charland and his wife Alice of Camp Hill, PA, Kevin P. Charland and his wife Jessica of Groton, MA, Jameson C. Boulanger and his wife Ysamar of Cranston, her goddaughter Bernadette Charland of Brookline, MA, and 6 great-grandchildren: Billy, Genevieve, Anderson, Jonny, Eloise, and Benjamin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 10:30AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston. Interment will follow at Smithville Cemetery in North Scituate.
