Mark Anthony Burns

Mark Anthony Burns, 63, of Warwick, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Born in Alabama, he was the son of the late Fred J. and Sharon F. (Hackney) Burns.

Mark was a cherished member of the J. Arthur Trudeau Center for many years. He enjoyed bowling, wrestling, and listening to Elvis Presley. Mark will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his devoted sisters, Frances C. Salinas (William Mitchell) of Fall River, MA and Wanda J. Jones (Lamumba) of West Warwick, his nephews and nieces; Derek Salinas, Seth Salinas, Charlotte Arias, Steven Sturdevant, Angeline Sturdevant, and Jason Kershaw, and his grandnieces and grandnephews; Jade, Zoe, Brielle, Seth Jr., Andrea, Calvin, Luke, Adilynn, Cyrus, Austin, and Emmy.

He was the brother of the late Russell Alan Burns.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 10:00AM at the Riverpoint Advent Christian Church, 1107 Main Street, West Warwick.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.
