Marjorie Marie Goward

Marjorie Marie (Miller) Goward, 70, of Coventry, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025. She was the loving wife of John R. Goward. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Doris (Harrington) Anderson.

Marjorie worked as a Real Estate Broker, and was the owner of Elite Real Estate Co., where she received the “Circle of Excellence” from the Providence board of realtors. She was a strong Christian who enjoyed spreading the word of Jesus.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her beloved son Brian Rector (Melissa) of Gaffney, Alabama, her sister’s Christine M. Maini (James Buchanan) of Coventry, Colleen A. Gavrielides (Tony) of Exeter, and Kathleen E. Finnegan of Warwick.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 2:00PM-4:00PM, with closing prayers, at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.
