Marie Dawn (Brooks) Lucier

Marie Dawn (Brooks) Lucier, 64, died peacefully on Thursday. April 16, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving husband. She was the beloved wife of Joseph E. Lucier and loving mother of the late Joseph Alfred Lucier. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Arlene (Corbeil) Brooks and the late Thomas F. Brooks.

Marie was a dedicated and loyal employee of Dunkin Donuts, where she spent many years building not just a career, but a community. As a manager at several locations throughout Rhode Island, she was known for her strong work ethic, leadership, and unwavering commitment to both her team and her customers.

Marie found great joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially spending time at the beach, where she enjoyed many happy and peaceful days. She had a deep appreciation for warm weather and sunshine.

Besides her loving and devoted husband of over 44 years and her mother, she is survived by her five sisters, Charlene Platt (Steve) of Warwick, Patricia M. Lisi (Anthony) of Warwick, Catherine Maine (Henry) of Cranston, Theresa Passarelli (Mark) of Warwick and Susan Lynch (Thomas) of Cranston. She also leaves many beloved nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue on Tuesday April 21, 2026 at 9:00AM to a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 854 Providence St. West Warwick, burial will follow in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, 100 Harrison Ave, Warwick.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave. Warwick, on Monday April 20, 2026, from 4:00PM-7:00PM.
