Lynn Irene Washington

 Lynn Irene (Josephson) Washington, 76, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 21, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Russell C. Washington. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Mary Frances (Schill) Josephson.

Lynn was the office administrator at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, for many years before retiring. She also served as Vice President of Apponaug Little League when her two sons were growing up.

Lynn is survived by her two sons, David R. Washington (Martha) of West Warwick and Derek C. Washington (Amy) of Warwick. She also leaves her sister, Janet Swanson of West Warwick.

Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 10:00AM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick, RI. Burial will follow in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick, RI.

Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 4:00PM- 7:00PM.
