Lyman E. Cole, Jr., 88, of Warwick, passed away peacefully surrounded by all his girls on August 31, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Eva (Ally) Cole for 63 years. Lyman was born in Warwick, Rhode Island and was the son of the late Lyman E. and Emily (Morey) Cole.
Lyman worked at Kenney Manufacturing for 18 years, was the owner of Tech Alarm Company and was a teacher to many. He raised strong independent daughters and when his grandchildren came along would love to spend hours outside with them building and creating things. Lyman loved the ocean and time on his boat with his family teaching them the art of fishing and quahogging. He loved his Sunday rides with his girls and enjoyed traveling. He adored his grandchildren like no other.
Besides his wife, he leaves behind two daughters. Jayne Furlong of Exeter (husband Michael) and Christine Boettger of North Kingstown (husband Eric). He was the beloved grandfather of Emily Ally Crudale (husband Matthew), Zachary Cole Boettger (partner Kara Dalton), Lyman was step-grandfather to William Furlong (wife Lisa), Kerri Lauzon (husband Kevin) and Jennifer Furlong. Lyman was also blessed with great-grandchildren Shane and Garrett Furlong and Jacob Beagan.
Funeral Arrangements are private and have been entrusted to THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.
