Louise Catalano Obituary

Louise Olivia (DiDomenico) Catalano, 87, of Warwick, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024. She was the loving wife of Carmine Joseph Catalano. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Adelchi and Ida (Patalano) DiDomenico.

Louise was a graduate of Rhode Island College. She worked as a social worker in the Cranston School System and maintained her own private practice as a psychologist. Louise was a communicant of St. Gregory the Great Church in Warwick and St. Thomas More Church in Sarasota, FL, serving as a member of both parish choirs. She was also a member of the Counseling & Psychology Association.

Alongside her husband, she is survived by her beloved children, Carla A. D’Ercole (Philip) of Cranston and David C. Catalano (Charlene) of Wake Forest, NC, her sister, Norma Soave of South Carolina, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was the sister of the late Richard DiDomenico.

Her Funeral will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 8:30AM from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM at St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Interment will follow at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.

Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 4:00PM-7:00PM.
