79, of Warwick, died at Kent Hospital on Friday, February 11, 2011. Born in Boston, MA he was a son of the late Francesco Ferretti and Maria (DiCarlo) Ferretti. He was the husband of the late Bella A. (Solitro) Ferretti.
Mr. Ferretti was the Manager for the former Levin Plating Company until his retirement. He was a Founding Member of the East Natick Veterans Club and a Communicant of Saints Rose & Clement Parish. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He leaves his three children: Mary Jane Doughty-Ferretti of Coventry, Michele A. Thibault of Cumberland, and Christopher F. Ferretti of NYC, NY. He the brother of Pasco Ferretti of Middletown, RI, Rose Iadeluca of East Greenwich, and the late Antonio, Generino, Paul Ferretti, and Jennie Stravato. He was the loving grandfather of four grandchildren.
His funeral will be held Friday, February 18, 2011 at 9:30 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Clement Church, 111 Long Street, Warwick. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home from 8:30 to 9:30 am on Friday.
