John Jack G. Masse, 81, of Pawtucket, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. He was the loving husband of Janet (Zajchowski) Masse. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Leo and Mary (OBrien) Masse.
Jack worked as an EEG Technician for Truesdale Hospital in Fall River, Massachusetts until his retirement. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. In his free time, Jack enjoyed relaxing in his recliner with his cherished bichons, Dusty and Mackenzie.
Alongside his wife Janet, he is survived by his beloved children, Stephen Masse of Providence and Karen Masse of Lincoln, his grandchildren, Alicia Masse, Christopher Masse, Katie Masse, and Victoria Masse Sipe, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and his sisters-in-law, Julia and Rosemary Masse.
He was the brother of the late Leo Masse, Jr., William Masse, Thomas Masse, Raymond Masse, Catherine Thurber, and Joan Masse.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 11:00AM at St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass from 9:00AM-10:00AM at DARLINGTON MORTUARY OF LHEROUX & SON, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket.
