Jane Mary Antos, 76, of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Irenensza and Frances (Gregelevich) Antos, sister of the late Winifred Antos, and she leaves behind her niece, Jenna Antos and husband Connor Bruen.
Jane attended St. Joseph College and then joined the Cranston School System as an English teacher at Hugh B. Bain Junior High and Middle School. She rose to become the English Department Chair and was Co-Chair of Student Council alongside her dearest friend, Bonnie Sorgel for 20 years. She also taught at Bishop Hendricken High School, Katherine Gibbs School, and served as the Director of Career Services at the Education Exchange in Wakefield.
Jane was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church where she taught CCD and headed the Order of Christian Initiation (OCIA) Program. She was an avid gardener, loved to read, and lived a full life faithfully in Christ.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 10:00AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston, RI.
Visitation will be held prior from 8:15AM-9:15AM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick, RI.
