Jacqueline C. (Schmidt) Givens

Jacqueline C. (Schmidt) Givens, 84, of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of the late Lt. Col. Charles A. Givens, USAF for fifty-five years. Born in Pittsburgh, PA. She was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Angeline B. (Camella) Schmidt.

Jacqueline was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who provided a loving home for her family. A devout Catholic, she attended both Sts. Rose & Clement Parish and St. Kevin Parish in Warwick. Jacqueline enjoyed Bible Study, playing cards, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.

She is survived by her beloved children, Colleen Duran (Tony) of Warwick, SMSgt Kevin C. Givens, USAF Ret. (Michell) of Melbourne, FL, Brigadier General Keith M. Givens, USAF Ret. (Christine) of E. Peoria, IL, CMSgt Sean M. Givens, USAF Ret. (Kristen) of Warwick, her sister, Frannie Irwin of Terentum, PA, fourteen grandchildren, Michael, Nicholas, Elizabeth, John, Brittany, Adam, Ray, Jen, Kerri, Caitlin, Nicole, Troy, Sean Jr., and Kyle, and ten great-grandchildren, Haylee, Charles, Carlos, David, Maddox, Mclean, Camryn, Callan, Anna, and Jemma.

She was the sister of the late Mary Ann Givens and close friends of the late Michael and Catherine Bacasa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 10:00AM at St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick. Interment will follow at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.
