Hilde (Reinheimer) Rapp

Hilde (Reinheimer) Rapp, 90, of West Warwick, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025. She was the loving wife of the late Manfred Rapp. Born in Klein-Gerau, Germany, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Debuss) Reinheimer.

Hilde served as a Registered and Pediatric Nurse for various medical facilities throughout Germany and completed her work at Kent County Hospital in Warwick. She was a devoted, wife, mother, and grandmother. Blessed with an adventurous personality, Hilde became a world traveler and cherished the many different places she visited with her husband Fredi. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and was an avid gardener. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Hilde is survived by beloved children, Oliver Rapp (Ann Marie Sousa) of West Warwick and Erik Rapp (Christine Earley) of North Smithfield, her brother, Alfred Reinheimer of Klein-Gerau, Germany, and her cherished grandchildren, Nathaniel and Caroline.

She was the sister of the late George Reinheimer.

A Celebration of Hilde’s Life will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2025 from 1:00PM-3:00PM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Interment will be private.
