Helen Regina (Rogers) Lake

Helen Regina (Rogers) Lake, 95, of Warwick, formerly of North Kingstown, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in East Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Mildred (Morrissey) Rogers. She was the former wife of the late Donald F. Lake.

Helen attended Sacred Heart School in East Providence and graduated from St. Mary Academy – Bay View in 1949. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she provided a loving home for her family and worked as a C.A.D. Clerk for the Engineering Department of the Bostitch Corporation until her retirement. Helen received her Certification of Christian Doctrine and served as a Catechist to many, including her own children. She also served as a Cub Scout Leader for her children’s troop. Helen was an avid reader and enjoyed being the family historian. She loved bingo, dancing, and solving puzzles. Helen will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.

She is survived by her beloved children, Donald F. Lake (Heli) of Connecticut, John B. Lake (Grace) of Connecticut, Regina A. Walsh of West Warwick, Nancy A. Sundin (Gary) of Warwick, Thomas J. R. Lake (Amy) of Richmond, and Christopher J. Lake of Warwick, her brother John B. Rogers of Florida, her sister, Patricia Baribault (Albert) of West Warwick, twenty-four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Karen A. Conway, sister of the late Thomas Rogers, Margaret McCormick, and Ann Marie Hoxie, and the grandmother of the late Tyler P. Lake and Richard R. Walsh.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025 at 10:00AM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Interment will follow at Pawtuxet Memorial Park in Warwick.

Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday, July 20, 2025 from 1:00PM-4:00PM.
