Helen Haywood

Helen (Cole) Haywood, 72, of Warwick, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, March 16, 2026. Born in Cranston, she was the beloved daughter of William and Catherine (Grimes) Cole.

Helen spent many years working as a culinary supervisor across several hotels and nursing homes building a long and experienced career before eventually retiring.

She will be sadly missed by her sister, Doris Rossi of Warwick, and her brother, Richard Cole (Mary) of Pennsylvania. She also leaves behind her devoted niece and caretaker, Jessica Brousseau; her goddaughter, Alana Ablog; and her beloved “grandson,” Dominic, along with several other cherished nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Robert and Ronnie Cole, and her sister, Margaret Mulcahey.

Funeral service and burial will be private.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave. Warwick.
