Helen Bogoian, 86, of East Greenwich, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 11,2026. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of David and Grace (Azarian) Bogoian.
Throughout her professional life, she worked as a legal secretary, a role she carried out with care, precision and pride. After retiring Helen owned and operated Alpha One Health Food Store in Warwick, Rhode Island for approximately 10 years and spent time educating family and friends with her knowledge of health and wellbeing. Beyond her career, she was an active member of Sts.Varanantz Armenian Apostolic Church in Providence, Rhode Island, she was also involved in the Church's Ladies Guild, where she generously gave her time and support to parish activities and community events. She also volunteered at the Johnston Senior Center where she made many lasting friendships. Whenever and for whatever, for family and friends, you knew you could always count on Helen to be there in time of need, a true friend to everyone she knew. She could uplift your spirits just by her hello.
Family was very important to her. She will be sadly missed by her brother George Bogoian, sister-in-law Shirley, her sister, Katherine Robinson, late Barry Robinson and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Saint Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence.
