Harry Dunnington Obituary

Harry Everette Dunnington, 78, of Warwick, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025. He was the loving husband of Marle Tober-Dunnington. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, he was the son of the late John and Alice (Gault) Dunnington.

Harry proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He continued supporting our government by serving in the Air Force Reserves for many years. He worked as a data processing manager for various companies in Arkansas, Washington State, Illinois, Texas, and New Jersey. After semi-retiring, he moved to Florida, where he worked as an office manager in general contracting for many years. He met his loving wife, Marle Tober-Dunnington, in Florida. He enjoyed dancing, smoking his pipe, and spending time with close friends and family. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he will be greatly missed.

Alongside his wife, Marle Tober-Dunnington of Warwick, he is survived by his beloved children, Cheryl Zuraulevic (Paul) of Branchburg, NJ, Michelle Lutter (Eric) of Springfield, MO, Richard Hecker (Laura) of South Glastonbury, CT, Robert Hecker of Coventry, and Randee Junkins (David) of Cranston, his former wife, Mona Dunnington of Conway, AR, his grandchildren, Sophia Zuraulevic, Alexis Sligh (Aaron), Abigail Whitehead (Jordan), Alyssa Lutter, Daniel Hecker (Lexie), Benjamin Hecker, Jonathan Hecker, and James Hecker, his great-grandchildren, Adilene, Andrew, Edgar, Jac, Arabella, and Charlie, and his brother, Larry Dunnington of Mayflower, AR.

He was the brother of the late Ethel Lively.

His Committal Service with Military Honors will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 12Noon at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 S County Trail, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Administrative Building by 11:45 AM.
