Harriet Ann Ridgely

88, of Independence, Virginia, died Sunday, February 20, 2011 in Waddell Nursing Home, Galax, Virginia. She was the widow of William A. Ridgely.

She was born on February 8, 1923 at Superior, Wyoming to Richard Hagg and Lucille Franco Hagg. She was formerly of Lanham, Maryland, Cumberland, Rhode Island and Stuart, Florida.

Surviving are six children and spouses, Billie Wallace of Colorado Springs, CO, Patricia Ridgely and Ted Crowell of Independence, VA, Barbara and Ralph Bally of Montgomery Village, MD, Richard J. Ridgely of Independence, VA, Steven A. and Beth Ridgely of Telford, PA and Jeffrey Ridgely of Baltimore, MD; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, sister and spouse, Helen and Lloyd Hysell of Greenbelt, MD.

A Committal service will be held Monday, February 28, 2011 at 10:00 am in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited and asked to meet at the administration building parking lot.
