Gloria Marie Lena (McKendall) Mallozzi, 88, of Cranston, RI, died peacefully on Tuesday December 2, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Escolino “Pat” Mallozzi whom she was married to for over 46 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Nancy (Mirabella) McKendall.
Gloria worked as a Retail Analyst for several companies before retiring from DeBlois Oil. She had a strong Christian faith and was an active member of Grace Bible Church in Cranston where she enjoyed attending fellowship and Bible Study.
Mrs. Mallozzi was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She treasured every moment with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Gloria will best be remembered for her kindness and thoughtfulness as her life was a testament to her generous selfless spirit, consistently placing the needs of her loved ones and community before her own.
She is survived by her loving children, Debra Brzozowy (David) of Bristol, Kenneth Mallozzi (George) of Providence, Mary Mallozzi of Pawtucket, Donna Mallozzi of North Providence, Edward Mallozzi (Dannah) of Cranston. She was the sister of Thomas McKendall (Shirley), Rita Bassett (David), Anita Coutu (Eugene) and Norman McKendall (Tina); loving grandmother of Chrystal, Melody, Kristin, Alisha, Zachary, Joshua and great grandmother to Madison. She was the sister of the late, Michael McKendall Jr., Helen Olivelli, Barbara Santilli, Marie Rezendes, Ernest McKendall and Leo McKendall. Gloria will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins and also her dear friends.
A special thank you to the dedicated professionals at the Steere House Nursing Home and the Hope Hospice team for the comfort, dignity, and care they provided to Gloria.
Her funeral will be held on Monday December 8, 2025 at 9:00AM from the URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick with a service at 10:00AM at the Grace Bible Church, 116 Rolfe Square, Cranston, RI. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, 1 Rhode Island Ave. Johnston, RI.
Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home, Sunday December 7, 2025, from 5-8PM
