She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Allen J. Kennedy. Together, they built a life rooted in hard work, family, and community, owning and operating two motels and a service station in North Kingstown. She also worked as a bookkeeper, where her sharp mind and steady hand were a constant support to her family’s businesses.

Gloria was a proud member of the South County Rod & Gun Club Ladies Auxiliary, where she formed many lifelong friendships. Known for her warm heart and generous spirit, she loved nothing more than cooking for her family and filling her home with love, laughter, and the aromas of her kitchen.

She is survived by her daughters, Alana Klingensmith and her husband Eric of Exeter, Carla Kennedy of South Kingstown, and Wendy Gagne and her husband Mark of Wales, Maine. Gloria was the beloved grandmother of Erin, Madalyn, Robert II, Ian, Samuel, Rebecca, and Jacob, and the cherished great-grandmother of Robert III, Teaghen, Landon, Kade, Elliott, Olivia, Silvio, and Cohen. Her happiest moments were spent at the heart of family gatherings, surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose laughter and love were the true joys of her life.

Gloria was predeceased by her brother, Richard Guay, and her sisters, Vivian Guay, Shirley Morrison, and Joan Hocking. She is survived by her brother, Ralph Guay Jr. of Old Orchard, Maine, and her sister, Jean Scribner of Orono, Maine.
