Gloria M. (Asprinio) DiFolco, 102, of Warwick, died peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving daughters and family. She was the beloved wife of the late Domenic DiFolco. Born in Providence, she was the daughter, of the late Alfred and Adelina (Cambio) Asprinio.
Gloria, a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, was a communicant of St. Kevin’s Church in Warwick. She enjoyed cooking and baking and was known for her famous pound cakes and butterballs. She especially enjoyed hosting the holidays and weekly Sunday dinners.
Gloria will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Patricia A. DiFolco and Lisa M. DiFolco, both of Warwick and her neighbor and longtime adoptive daughter, Natalie Kurowsky. She was predeceased by her brothers and sister, C. Thomas Asprinio, Marie Ambrosino and Alfred Asprinio.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 11:30AM at St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick, RI. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
Visitation will be held prior to the Mass from 8:45AM-10:45AM at URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Shrine, 701 Fort Washington Ave. New York, NY 10040 in her memory. Her memory will forever be a blessing to all who knew her.
