George Warren Davis, Jr.

George Warren Davis, Jr., 81, of East Providence, formerly of Cranston, passed away at Miriam Hospital on Sunday, August 3, 2025. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Dr. George W. Davis, Sr. and Elizabeth (Hayes) Davis.

George was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Pawtucket and the Greenwood Concert Choir in Warwick. A lifelong learner, he enjoyed studying various subjects, especially the bible. He also enjoyed spending time at the Cranston Senior Center, especially singing karaoke, and visiting with friends and staff.

He is survived by his loving sister, Marjorie Hayes Davis of East Providence.

He was the brother of the late Albert Edwin Earl Davis.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:00AM at the Woodlawn Baptist Church, 337 Lonsdale Avenue, Pawtucket, RI 02860. A coalition will be held immediately after the service in the Social Hall.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.
