Gail L. Brown, 67, of North Kingstown, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 15, 2026, peacefully in her home surrounded by love. She was the loving wife of Joseph A. Brown. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. Francis, Jr. and Carol A. (Bird) Levrault.
Gail and her loving husband Joe, were born in the same hospital one day apart where rumor has it they shared the same nursery. They reunited again in high school where they fell in love and became soul mates, spending the next 53 years together where they remained inseparable. Gail loved reading, spending her summers camping with family and friends, laughing and joking around a camp fire, traveling and experiencing adventures with her Joey. She also loved afternoons at the beach with her mom, Carol. Gail was employed as a customer service representative with Toray Plastics for 43 years as one of their longest-standing employees until her retirement 2024. She was a member of Quidnessett Baptist Church where she faithfully served in the nursery, vacation bible school, children's ministry and loved spending her Saturdays with the woman's bible study.
In addition to her husband, she leaves her loving brother, Jeffrey G. Francis of Warwick. She was the sister of the late Gary J. Francis. Although Gail did not have any children of her own, she loved and doted on her neices and nephew, Stephanie A. Fagnant, Kristy L. Corrigan, Kerrilyn A. Zincone, Christopher S. Hazard, and many grandnieces and nephews. Gail will be forever remembered as a kind and loving soul, who cared deeply for her family, friends and church. Her smile and infectious laugh made a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Quidnessett Baptist Church, 6356 Post Road, North Kingstown. Burial will follow in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery.
Calling Hours will be held Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown.
