Frederick Potter, Jr. Obituary

Frederick Louis Potter, Jr., 71, of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Patricia Ann (Silvia) Potter of Warwick. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Frederick Potter, Sr. and Mary (Mulvey) Potter.

Frederick worked as a Supervising Manager in the transportation industry and was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Frederick was a parishioner of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Edgewood.

Alongside his wife Patricia, he is survived by his beloved children, Renee M. Sorkin (Ian C.) of Mechanicsburg, PA and Frederick J. Potter (Joanna) of Thornton, PA, his brother, William Potter (Kate) of Delaware, and Mary Lou Maloney (Patrick) of Florida, and his grandchildren, Ian D., Christian, Taylor, Kaia, Mila, and Emery.

He was the brother of the late Patricia Desrocher.

His Funeral will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 8:30AM from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1 Saint Paul Place, Cranston, RI 02905 (Corner of Broad Street & Warwick Avenue). Interment will follow at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.

Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 5:00PM-7:00PM.
