Francis Eugene Keenan, III

Francis Eugene Keenan III, 83, of West Warwick, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Born in Warwick, he was the son of the late Francis Eugene Keenan, Jr. and Muriel (Burgess) Keenan.

Francis was self-employed as a Fence Erector for many years. He was a member of the Apponaug Old Timers and a Volunteer Firefighter for the Warwick Fire Department. He also served as President of the Rhode Island Country Music Association.

He is survived by his loving companion of twenty-three years, Charlene DiBona, his beloved children, Michael F. Keenan (Denise) of Warwick, William R. Keenan (Deborah) of Warwick, and Rebecca Keenan of West Warwick, his siblings, Robert Keenan of Coventry and Jane Wells of Cranston, seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
