Frances E. Wiggins

77, of Swansea, MA, formerly of Providence, passed away Wednesday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late George E. and Mary (Finnegan) Wiggins.

Miss Wiggins was an Educator for the Providence School System for 35 years until her retirement in 1990. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church in Providence.

She was the beloved aunt of Patricia A. Rodrigues, Kathleen L. Berard, Janet E. Partridge and Michael C. Wiggins. Loving grandaunt and great grandaunt. She was the sister of the late George E. Wiggins, Jr.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 10:15 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am in St. Mary Church, 538 Broadway, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Sunday 4-7 pm.
