Emelita Divina Willis

Emelita Divina Willis, 63, of Wakefield, died peacefully on December 20, 2024 at Rhode Island Hospital.   She was the loving wife of Dana B. Willis.  Born in the Republic of the Philippines, she was a daughter of the late Silvestre D. Divina and Francisca D. (Dellosa) Divina.

Emelita- “Em” was employed as a claims representative in the insurance industry for many years, most recently working for One America Financial since February 2022 until her retirement at the beginning of January 2024.   

She enjoyed gardening, plants, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family, always getting compliments on the beauty of the many flower beds that she would spend long hours lovingly tending and nurturing.

Em was the youngest in a large family, having six sisters and two brothers.  In addition to her husband, she leaves two sisters and a brother, as well as many nieces & nephews, all of the Philippines.  She was the sister-in-law of Eric Willis & his wife Melissa, Karen Yeh & her husband Ron, and Craig Willis.  She also leaves her loving labradors, Fudgie & Jenny.   

Her funeral and burial will be private.  Calling hours are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to The Filipino Cancer Network of New England Foundation, Inc. will be appreciated.

Arrangements have been entrusted to THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD.
