Elaine Beverly (Chatell) Correia

Elaine Beverly (Chatell) Correia, 82, of West Warwick, RI, died peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Theresa Mary Cicelia (Medeiros) Chatell.

Elaine was an administrative secretary for the West Warwick Housing Authority for many years before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Vincent DePaul Church in Coventry and was an active member of the St. Vincent DePaul knitting group.

She is survived by her loving daughters and grandchildren, of Dianne M. Van Pelt (DirK) of Cranston and Donna M. Sutton (B. Charles) of Coventry; her grandchildren, Kristopher C. Petitto Sutton (Dominick) and Kathryn Sutton and many friends. She was predeceased by her companion, Robert Turner.
